Offsite San Diego Airport Parking Cost

The offsite parking operators near San Diego Airport are suitable for people traveling from either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 at the San Diego Airport. The complimentary shuttles service both of these terminals. Since these parking lots are located off-airport property, they are able to charge lower rates than the official airport parking options. This makes them highly desirable for travelers needing long-term parking. You can save over 50% on airport parking just by booking with an off-site provider rather than an on-airport parking lot.

Offsite parking providers are ideal for families with small children or travelers with lots of luggage. Staff provides free luggage assistance so you can easily board the shuttle. You will quickly be on your way to the airport within a few minutes. The airport shuttle will bring you within steps of the airport entrance. You do not need to worry about lugging your baggage through a parking garage. When you return, the airport shuttle will be waiting for you outside of the baggage claim to bring you back directly to your car.

Official San Diego Airport Parking Options

San Diego Airport offers five different options for parking on the airport property. The Economy Lot is located furthest away, but it is the most affordable on-airport parking option. The parking lots at Terminal 1 and 2 are within walking distance, but they are uncovered lots. The Terminal 2 Plaza is a covered parking garage located within the closest proximity to Terminal 2, but the parking spots are limited. Curbside Valet parking is the fastest option for going from your car to the terminal, but it is the most expensive parking San Diego Airport offers. Curbside Valet is available at both terminals. As you can see, all options have their pros and cons. We have created this guide to help you navigate and understand all of the details about each of the parking options. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our team.
