Honolulu Airport has three on-site parking facilities for overnight parking, as well as two cell phone lots for short term parking. The HNL parking garages are always open, 24 hours per day and 7 days a week. Parking is permitted for a maximum of 30 days. Motorcycle parking is available at all three parking facilities.
Upon arrival at the parking garage, the ticket machine will automatically dispense a parking ticket. Keep this ticket in a safe place. Present the ticket to the cashier when you exit. Honolulu Airport parking garages accept cash and all major credit cards. The Honolulu Airport parking rates are the same for all three parking garages.
The parking options at Honolulu Airport include the International Parking Garage, Terminal 2 Parking Garage, Terminal 1 Parking Garage, and the Cell Phone Waiting Areas.
For international flights from the Honolulu Airport, the International Parking Garage is the perfect choice. It located within a short walking distance of the International Arrivals Building. This is the largest parking structure at HNL Airport with eight stories and 1800 parking spaces. The International Garage is connected to the Terminal 1 Garage via a walkway on level 6.
Enter the garage on the ground level via the Airport Access Road. Exit through the Parking Plaza with direct connections to the H-1 Freeway and Nimitz Highway. The height restriction of the International Garage is 8’0”.
Terminal 2, or the Main Terminal, at Honolulu Airport serves all the overseas flights, as well as some domestic USA flights. Terminal 2 Parking Garage is within a short walk of the Terminal 2 entrance. It is the smallest parking garage at HNL Airport with only five stories and 1570 parking spaces.
Enter the garage on the second floor from the Airport Access Road. Walkways on the fourth floor of the parking garage provide direct access to Terminal 2 departures area. The exit of the parking garage connects to the H-1 Freeway and the Nimitz Highway. The height restriction of the Terminal 2 Parking Garage is 6’2”.
Hawaiian Airlines is the only airline that operates from Terminal 1, also known as the InterIsland Terminal. If you are flying with Hawaiian Airlines, then the Terminal 1 Parking garage is ideal for your trip as it is located directly adjacent to Terminal 1. On the top level of the garage, a vehicle bridge connects Terminal 1 Parking Garage to the International Parking Garage.
Enter the garage from either the ground or second level on the Airport Access Road. Exit through the Parking Plaza and connect to either the H-1 Freeway or the Nimitz Highway. The height restriction for Terminal 1 Parking Garage is 7’0”.
Honolulu Airport has two cell phone lots for people who are picking-up friends or family from the airport. They are convenient waiting areas for drivers to park while the arriving passengers retrieve their luggage and make their way to the curbside pickup location. The maximum waiting time is 60 minutes and drivers may not leave their cars unattended. The Diamond Head Cell Phone Lot is located on Aolele Street, closest to Terminal 2. The Ewa Cell Phone Lot is located on Searvice Road A, closest to Terminals 1 and 3.
The park and ride option is great for those travelers looking for HNL airport parking at the best rates, or those who need longer terms for their parking.
