Three Types of Skyharbor Airport Parking

There are three main types of Phoenix airport parking to consider: Park and Ride, Valet Parking, and Park and Walk. Continue reading this simple guide to help navigate the variety of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport parking.

  • Valet Parking
  • Park and Walk

Park and Ride

Park and Ride options are a great value for Sky Harbor Airport long term parking. You will need to leave plenty of time to arrive at the off-site parking location and then take the free shuttle transfer to the airport. But the best part is that you will save a ton of money that you can spend instead on your vacation!

Valet Parking

Valet Parking is the most expedient option, although it is also the most costly option. You simply drop-off your car either curbside at the terminal or at the entrance to the parking garage. Then, your car will be waiting for you when you return.

Park and Walk

There are parking garages located within walking distance of each of the three terminals. The rates are generally higher than the Shuttle services, but it is convenient to not wait for a shuttle. These parking garages are officially operated by the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

Sky Harbor Terminal Parking

PHX has 116 aircraft gates in three Terminals (2, 3, 4). Terminal 1 has been “retired” and the airport administration decided against renumbering the other terminals because passengers were already familiar with the numbers already in place.

Sky Harbor Terminal 2 Parking

Terminal 2 has 17 gates that serve the following airlines: Advanced air, Alaska Airlines, Boutique air, Contour, Spirit, and United. There is also a United Club lounge in the terminal.

Sky Harbor Terminal 3 Parking

Terminal 3 is officially named the John S. McCain III Terminal 3. There are 15 gates that serve the following airlines: Delta, Frontier, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue, and Sun Country. There is also a Delta Sky Club lounge in the terminal.

Sky Harbor Terminal 4 Parking

Terminal 4 is officially named Barry M. Goldwater Terminal 4. It is the airport’s largest and busiest terminal. There are 84 gates within 7 concourses that serve the following airlines: Air Canada, American, British Airways, Condor, Southwest, Volaris, and West Jet. Terminal 4 is the exclusive international airline terminal. There is also an American Airlines Admirals Club and a USO Club for military members.
